Anglers have been catching stripers from the Key Bridge south to as far as you care to travel. Anglers locating stripers bunched up have been successful jigging Stingsilvers and various spoons on them.
Jigging around the deep water pilings and eastern rock pile of the Bay Bridges produced a few legal stripers and small blues. Trollers continue to pick up stripers working the channel edges, drop-off’s, hard bottoms and major bottom contours from 6 Foot Knoll south to Sandy Point Light.
When the conditions are right, Podickory Point and Hackett’s Bar rank as several of the top local chumming and bottom fishing locations.
