I’ve used the reel on several outings and while I like the feel of the reel it has a tendency to back lash. I’m not sure why but it probably has to do with the weight of the spool

What else do you need to know? It is an Abu Garcia the best reel on the market for the money. Don’t waste your money on the more expensive reels that don’t catch more fish.
